You'd be hard pressed to find these colors in the San Francisco Bay Area
My family is from San Jose, California. As many of you may know, we are an Air Force Family, and we move around quite often. Living in the midwest gives us an opportunity to experience four very distinct seasons. When we lived in the Bay Area, the temperature varied season to season by, perhaps, only ten degrees. The trees stayed green, for the most part, and just got greener as you approached Winter. Here are some pictures that I took of some of the trees around Omaha. I hope you are enjoying the colors of this season, no matter where you are. If you're in the Southern Hemisphere, lucky you! I also love Springtime, so I'd bet you're probably loving the season where you are, also.

Beautiful Fall photos Ethel, how great to have those colors around you!
Sigh...I live in south Florida, so we have no leaves changing. I long to have a fall weekend in the north so I can soak up all the amazing colors!!! Thanks for the beautiful photos.
Your fall colors are amazing! Along with your yummy apple pie, I'd say you are getting all the goodness of fall.
GREAT fall color's. This is my favorite time of the year. Only because of the leave changing color's. and the cool fall breeze.
I use to live in Florida where the leaves don't change. and now that I live in the North I really enjoy every mintue that I can.
Cause you know Winter's right around the corner.....
I also like winter.
WOW stunning photos, love the colours!

Beautiful colors!!! This year is particularly vibrant in the Pacific Northwest...it's supposed to be a pretty weekend so I hope to get out and take some shots here too! :)
Beautiful photography. Our color is all gone now...winter almost here. Thank you for sharing your lovely, LOVELY photos. You've allowed me to enjoy it just a little longer before the bleak winter. :)
Outstanding photos Ethel! I wish the autumn colors could last forever, but then perhaps we wouldn't appreciate them so much. Thanks for sharing and by the way...I've "tagged" you on my blog today. Smiles, pam :)
