Tonight's Project: Cosmetic Bag

I made this cute little cosmetic bag, this evening. It turned out to be much bigger than I thought. It's a fun quilted project that uses up scraps. I think I might give this one to my mom. I would've photographed this in natural light, but since it's always dark by the time I get home, it's sorta too late to catch that "good light." Don't forget to enter my Blogversary Giveaway!! Thanks for stopping by!

Ethel, your cosmetic bag is gorgeous! I love the colors and the patterns in the fabrics are great! (Thought that when I first saw them on your bloggaversary bags! :>) I think your Mom will love it! I have that problem with not enough light at night too...trying to figure out a better solution so that I don't have the dark photos that I did last night. Your lighting did show off the colors nicely.....its beautiful! :> TiikkiStars/Karen

This is beautiful!!!!!!! I think it turned out perfect! I wouldn't want to use it for a cosmetic bag, I'd be afraid to get it dirty. I think it would work great for a sewing/knitting bag to keep all your bits and pieces in!

Ok, I love the bag! Did you use the little pink bag, cut open the bottom and add the quilted fabric? Great idea!
