I thoroughly enjoyed working on Angie's circle journal. I was inspired by the two quotes I had chosen, and everything else just fell into place. I'm so glad she and I are going to have an entry in each other's books. I LOVE Angie to death. She's very kind, very smart and creative, and I love her taste in 80's music and movies. I hope she will like my pages when she gets her book back.

This morning's cards

I was awake before 5 AM today, and decided to make a few cards to pass the time away.

It's my birthday, today!!!!!

We celebrated my birthday at PF Chang's this evening. Everything (as always) is so delicious. We had grilled lamb, spicy noodles, mushu pork, and vegetables in coconut curry sauce. Aftewards, we went to the mall next door, and I treated myself to a new Vera Bradley black microfiber purse.

My friend, Joanne, gave me this gorgeous cookie bouquet. Isn't it so cool? I got three GIANT cookies. YUMMMMEEEEE!


This is a tin given to me by my friend, Jan. She applied alcohol ink all over the tin and embellished it with flowers (pansies, I believe) from her own garden. I LOVE IT! She also filled tin with candy (so very thoughtful). Thank you very much, Jan!
